Baseline is a design forward project that aims to provide a balanced lifestyle in harmony with nature. With 1,100 acres to develop, the project will span several years.
An atypical project requires atypical design. I imagined large geometric shapes (inspired by the brand created by Strada Advertising) weaved through the landscape and interacting playfully with the nature surrounding them, blurring the lines between signage and art.
The temporary signage also breaks with the standard post and panel look used by most suburban developments. Modular cubical wooden structures allow for messaging on all four sides and panels can easily be swapped as the project evolves.
The permanent signage uses natural materials that both complement and contrast with the Colorado landscape.
